The idea
The process of building is becoming faster and faster. It does not concern only commercial buildings, whose owners want to make profit from the lease as soon as possible. The time of construction of production plants, buildings of public utility and flats is also getting shorter and shorter. The increasing pace of life puts a pressure to shorten the time of realization of the investments in constructions. Problems with deficiency of building materials has passed. The times, when unfinished constructions terrified the neighbouring inhabitants through the years, are over. Nowadays, modern technologies that, apart from searching for better and more durable solutions, also make the time of the investment shorter, come with help to the architects and investors. The main aim is to prefabricate more and more parts of the building. New objects are built faster, and the process of construction is less oppressive for neighbours.

Advantages:
- Dry screed is light - total load on the ceiling does not exceed 40 kg/m²
- A laid-down dry screed forms an even and smooth surface - if you want to cover it with a PVC carpet sheet, it is enough to polish the joints of the panels, without a self-levelling screed
- A huge saving of time - using the dry screed, it is possible to lay down a parquet, terracotta or carpet on the next day
- Dry and clean installation - water is not used in the process
- Dry screed has great load capacity
The load capacity of the TIM-EX dry screed is – according to PN-EN 13810 – 2,6 kN (research is executed by a punch 25x25mm in the weakest place of the system). This allows, in accordance with the requirements of this norm, to use TIM-EX dry screed in such fields of building as:
- Housing
- Hospitals
- Hotels
- Offices
- Banks
- Schools
- Retail shops (except for large surface shops)
- Restaurants
- Renovations of old buildings of all type
